This winter has proven to be a harsh one, for me anyway. You see, snow here in the suburbs of Denver doesn't really stick around. We have plenty of beautiful sunny days between random snow fall; the stuff melts within a day or so. But with the last winter storm this nasty stuff has stuck around way too long. Hence the oh so not glamorous OOTD. This is reality. Sometimes functionality beats out fashion. I'm doing my best to combine the two.I bought these combat-ish boots last year, still available here. When I told my friend (that's you Brenda) about this purchase she just giggled. She knows that I am a 5" heel kinda girl. As much as I love me a fierce heel, they don't do so well on the slick walkways. So here I am Brenda, boots and all, giggle away. This is my interpretation of mountain wear.
